The Town of Stephenville encourages anyone interested in putting themselves forward on Nomination Day to join us for a special Coffee Break Session!

Join us on Tuesday, September 2, from 12:00-1:30pm at Stephenville Town Hall, snacks will be provided!

Want to Run for Council?

To be eligible to run for council in the 2025 Municipal Election, you must:

Be a Canadian citizen who is 18 years of age or older;

Be ordinarily resident in the municipality for at least 30 days prior to the date set for the commencement of Nomination Day;

Not be in arrears of taxes or other charges payable to the municipality;

Not be otherwise disqualified under The Municipal Elections Act.
